PLEASE NOTE: The aQuellé Richmond Mudman requires all cyclists to have their ROAG bike boards.

What is Mudman?

Mudman is an off-road, multisport event consisting of running, swimming (or canoeing) and cycling. There is also a fun Spur Mudskipper Adventure designed especially for younger children to participate in. Every child 'wins' in this event. At the aQuellé Richmond Mudman, the Richmond Community and aQuellé work side by side to create an event, in which we achieve a unique mixture of fun, community building and successful fundraising.
The organisers have ensured that there will be very clear track markings, adequate marshaling, top notch first aid, security, safety and assistance along the route to all participants and at the venue. The other hosting schools in the series are Hermannsburg, Epworth and Cordwalles.

Parking at the dam will be R60 per car, first come first served.
Parking at the nursery, with a shuttle service provided, will be free.
A percentage of proceeds go towards the Richmond Fire Protection Services.

On the 8 March 2016, the principal of Pied Piper Pre-Primary, the Chairman of the Governing Body of Richmond Primary School and the Chairperson of the Aquellé Richmond Mudman Committee were able to donate new plastic tables and chairs to the Reception class of Richlea Primary School. Their classroom and equipment was destroyed in the recent fire that damaged the school in the beginning of the year. The children and teachers were very excited to see this new furniture as they were currently working on the floor in one of the rooms made available to them by the Richmond Community Trust.

It is always encouraging to see the Richmond community help each other so generously in the time of need.

Once again, we are very grateful to the Aquelle’ Mudman Series for affording us the opportunity to raise funds to help others in less fortunate circumstance than us. .
